What is testosterone?
The main male sex hormone produced by the testes is testosterone. A simple testosterone test is done to assess testosterone levels in the body. The normal level for a male is set as 246-836 ng/dL by the American Urological Association. Male and female testosterone levels are different. For women, the average testosterone levels range from 15 to 70 ng/dL. Anything below this range is termed as Low Testosterone.
